A Hybrid Surfboard with Retro Inspiration

This surfboard is a blend of retro Retro Mid length with Shortboard. Infusing features to produce a nice Funboard to ride in a variety of surf conditions. With ample volume hidden in the shape sized at6ft8″ x 21″ x 3″. This Hybrid board is called the missing link due to the fact it covers the space between Mid Length and Shortboard.

The Missing Link by ND Surfboards Features A retro style Mid Length nose with volume right up to the tip to help you catch waves easily, but still allow easy duck dives. From the nose the board tapers towards a more shortboard like wide  Squash tail that is stable but gives great hold and control on the wave face.

This board is a Thruster fin using Futures fin system for ease of use and tough construction. It comes complete with a set of future fins. The Rocker is moderate for stability and ease of use in a wide variety of conditions. However the Rails are shortboard like for performance but with a bit more volume for stability. Bottom contours are single to double concave.

Retro feel under foot with modern performance

Like we said earlier it, neither Mid length or Shortboard but just a nice Retro inspirered Surfboard for every day wave riding in the UK.  The Missing Link would be the ideal board for a surfer who wants to catch and carve loads of waves, Fine tuning there progress towards something shorter. However it would also suit a surfer after a nice summer ride who just loves the feel  of a bit more volume underfoot.
